Juan Pablo Canavire
Juan Pablo was born on 22 September 1984 in San Salvador in Jujuy in Northern Argentina. At 18 years old , he found what is now his passion, TANGO. He joined the ballet of “Pasión y Tango” for three years in Jujuy. All types of dances began to enrich his dance at the Dance School 'Escuela Superior de Danzas Norma Fontella': Contemporary dance, Classical dance, Partenaire and Folklore.
Wanting to go deeper in his learning, he traveled at 21 years old to Buenos Aires , to completely dedicate himself to dance. In the 'porteña city', Juan Pablo met with an infinity of teaching methods and styles of tango. during his three-year long search, until one day he came to DNI Tango. After taking his first class he felt he had come to the right place, the search was over. For over a year and a half, the guy from Jujuy came to the studio every evening to take classes, drink mate and spend time with the guys.
Today, he forms part of the DNI family as a teacher and dancer of the DNI Tango Company, having made appearances at the Theatre EL MAIPO , The Alvear Theatre, El Cubo theatre “La Musa del Capricho", The Second Festival of the Republic of La Boca, Milongas of Buenos Aires: La Viruta , Divertango, La nueva Milonga (Jujuy) It was a Great Experience to be able to Dance with Sara Westin (his girlfriend and professional dancer) from Sweden (Stockholm) in The Milonga Gröna lund before returning to Argentina (Buenos Aires) to perform in Avenida de Mayo for the 16th Anniversary National Tango Day Festival of the Tangauta.
